East Texas Food Bank Asking For Help

With the economy staying stagnant, more and more families are having to ask for help making ends meet.

And groups are trying their best to help as much as possible. But sometimes the demands outpace the donations.

The Shreveport Gator Run is helping out the food bank of northwest Louisiana.

But I know that many of us commute to or from East Texas... Or have friends and family there.

Sources that those living in east Texas turn to include the United Churches of Marshall Food Pantry and the East Texas Food Bank.

But, with so many needing help, they are having a tough time keeping shelves stocked.
