Just because there are lawyers I must make this abundantly clear. I am not a doctor and I am not offering you medical advice. I am simply telling you a story about what I have done to help alleviate the aches and pains that I have.

I have mild arthritis. Yes, I am an old guy but arthritis aches and pains aren't necessarily the sole realm of the old and decrepit like me. I don't like swallowing a lot of pills because they hurt my stomach. I do like feeling better so I was quite interested when I heard about this home remedy.

The remedy in question is golden raisins soaked in gin. There has been significant debate and discussion on the Internet about whether this remedy works or not. Personally, I don't care what works online. I am concerned about what works for me. This does.

Gin soaked raisins are exactly what you think they might be. They are really easy to make too. You simply get a decanter or bowl that you can keep covered. Add your raisins to the container and then pour in just enough gin to cover them. In a week or so the gin will evaporate leaving behind some very plump golden raisins. Transfer these soaked raisins to a glass storage container.

What I usually do is eat five or so of these raisins every day. My joint pain is significantly decreased. Is it some strange kind of chemical magic? Is it some kind of organic combination between the raisins and the gin? Is it the fact that I am getting a little shot of booze every day? Let's face it, we all know why Hadacol worked so well right?

Remember, I am not a doctor. If you try this consult your doctor first, especially if you're on medication already. if you do give it a try, let me know how it works for you. Regardless, I hope your aches and pains get better by whatever means you can find.
