The woman from Haughton with dementia who was reported missing last night was safely found in Prescott, Arkansas, by the Nevada County Sheriff's Office.  She had run out of gas, was confused, but she is okay.

An elderly Haughton woman suffering from dementia has wandered from her home and the Bossier Sheriff’s Office could use a helping hand in locating her.

Janie Marie Beaver Riner, 82, of the 600 block of Lawrence Drive in Haughton, was last seen at an appointment Thursday, July 27, in a business at the 4700 block of Palmetto Road in Benton. She left her cell phone at home, and her son believes she is lost and cannot find her way home.

Mrs. Riner is white, 5’1” and 95 pounds, with hazel eyes and blonde hair. She is driving a 2009 Lexus 35 SUV with a Louisiana license plate, VIA 908.

Detectives say Riner has no other contacts outside of this area and believe she is most likely still in Bossier City or Bossier Parish.
