Epic Drum-Off With Will Ferrell and Chad Smith [Video]

There's been a discussion for a long time... who is the better drummer? Will Ferrell or Chad Smith? We finally have a winner!

Will Ferrell and Chad Smith of the The Red Hot Chili Peppers faced off in an epic drum battle Thursday night on 'The Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon.  Dressed like identical twins, Smith and Ferrell each got four solos to in Fallon's words, "whoever whacks, smacks and slaps the skins best wins."

The title of 'Greatest Drummer' was on the line and it seemed that Chad Smith was dominating the battle...until Will Ferrell broke out the cowbell.

Later joined by the rest of the Red Hot Chili Peppers for a surprise performance of "Don't Fear the Reaper," Ferrell rocked the stage with the famous cowbell and walked away with bragging rights.
