After this past weekend's stellar representation of 96.5 KVKI and 'The Robert & Erin Morning Show' at the Krewe of Centaur Parade, Erin McCarty climbs back up on the award winning Viking ship float this Sunday for the highly popular, fun and somewhat zany, Krewe of Highland Parade.

Chatting with Robert and Erin Wednesday morning, Krewe Captain LeVette Fuller reminded Mardi Gras revelers that this year's parade has an expanded route and the most floats (104!) of any other parade in the ArkLaTex.

She also referred to the parade's unusual tradition of throwing food (along with the usual Mardi Gras fare), which has included in recent years hot dogs, tacos, and even spaghetti and meatballs, launched to the masses in Ziploc plastic bags.

So get ready, Mardi Gras goers! And be sure to look for KVKI's Erin McCarty (and her horny hat) aboard the Viking ship float in this Sunday's Krewe of Highland Parade!

The parade kicks off at 2 p.m. near Byrd High School and will wind through the Highland neighborhood's friendly streets. Have fun, and as the Krewe of Highland members say, 'Huzzah!'
