Erin McCarty’s Diet Update
My cleanse is over and now I am moving to a new diet plan for the next 30 days. It was nice to have a day off from the diet for the big Mardi Gras parade.
Here’s what I had over the weekend.
Chicken strip sliders, some fruit (strawberries and cantaloupe) and some veggies (carrots and celery). Greek yogurt with blueberries and strawberries on both Saturday and Sunday.
The one really bad thing I did consume over the weekend (other than a few adult beverages during the parade) was my families garlic dip recipe with some Lays Potato chips. I had this during the Super Bowl. I am amazed that I didn’t give in to temptation and fall further off of my diet wagon.
So far, I have lost a total of 10 pounds in 10 days. I did drink a lot of water over the weekend. I know you’ve probably heard that a lot, but it really is one of the main reasons this diet is working for me. I do drink the water. I’m ready to tackle the next 30 days and see how I do.
