The Bayou Outdoor Bass Tournament

This will be a multi-lake team tournament which will be under the direction of Tournament Director, Mike Echols. Crowds always enjoy watching anglers bring in their fish, getting them weighed, and the awarding of prize money.
The weigh-in will take place in front of the Hirsch Coliseum on January 19, 2013 at the State Fair of Louisiana Boat, Sport, and RV Show.

Cody Cooke IS country music. He lives, eats, and sleeps country music. The words to his songs are based on his life experiences. Born in Mansfield, Louisiana, Cody grew up cruising the back roads, fishing the best creeks, and sipping the finest shine that the bayou state has to offer. Cody's music offers hints of his favorite influences from Hank 1, 2, & 3, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe, Travis Tritt, & Tony Joe White to newer artists such as Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, & Brantley Gilbert. His sound is truly classic outlaw country turned up to eleven.

There aren't many Cajun lady gator hunters on the swamp. Taught by her father, Liz has been hunting gator since she was a little girl, using the same type of gun fired by Annie Oakley. An ace shot, Liz prides herself on being "one of the boys." She baits the hooks, pulls the lines and throws a knife with the best of them…and this is your chance to meet Liz!
Giant Kid’s Play Area
The Kid’s Play area at the State Fair Boat, Sport, and RV Show will cover an acre with over a dozen large inflatable games, activities and Pony rides.
