FEEDBACK: How Do You Handle a Two Year Old at a Sesame Street Live Show?

Okay, so tonight my son and I have a date. We are going to go see Sesame Street Live: Elmo Makes Music at the CenturyLink Center. The only problem is my son hates large crowds and unfamiliar settings! I need your help. I'll be the first to admit being a mom is not an easy task. I've learned so much from other moms and I know you can help me out with this one.

Riley is now about 2 1/2 and still gets freaked out by large crowds. I take the blame for that one, by not introducing him to daycare until he was about two. He spent most of his days at home with my mom until then, and he didn't get exposed to the outside world too much.

We've only had one trip to the CLC and that was for the Shrine Circus. Riley was NOT a happy camper for that show, but he wasn't quite two years old at that point.  I took him a long time to get used to the atmosphere, but in the end we left early because he was just done.

Am I setting myself up for failure? What helpful advice can you give me to help Riley have a great time tonight?
