The Food Bank is in need of volunteers to help sort items and prepare boxes for our Senior Program.  Last year the Food Bank had over 800 volunteers that gave over 13,500 volunteer hours to help provide food to those in need.

Volunteer hours are Monday thru Thursday 8:00 – 12:00 and 1:30pm – 4:00pm.  Anyone interested in volunteering should first contact Gene Haynes, Community Resource Coordinator, to confirm availability.

The Northwest Louisiana Food Bank is one of only five food banks in the state and  serves seven parishes of Northwest Louisiana. The food bank collects food both nationally and locally to distribute to over 100 non-profit agencies within our service area.
