Former Calvary Baptist Academy head football coach Doug Pederson will be returning to Louisiana this weekend when his Philadelphia Eagles take on the New Orleans Saints.

That Eagles team is struggling a bit as they head into the Superdome Sunday to take on the Saints. Philly has been battling a Super Bowl hang over, but tight end Zach Ertz remains one of the game’s best offensive weapons. Coach Sean Payton says Ertz reminds him of former Saints receiver Lance Moore, because he knows how to get open.

Quarterback Carson Wentz is also having a big season as well. This season he’s averaging over 300 yards passing per game.

While the Eagles seem a little off right now, the Saints are streaking.

New Orleans is on an 8-game winning streak, and are sitting atop plenty of the "power rankings" from publications across the country.

The Saints may also have a chance to deploy their latest weapon, wide receiver Brandon Marshal, against the Eagles.
