Former LSU Baseball Star Has a Big Week in The Pros

Kramer Robertson basically lived between second and third base at Alex Box Stadium. For two years he started nearly every game at shortstop for the LSU Baseball team, and ended up leaving a mark in that diamond dust that won't be forgotten anytime soon.

Which is bad news for the next couple of LSU Shortstops, because Robertson was able to play well enough not have constant comparisons to his predecessor, Alex Bregman, who will go down as an all-time great for LSU. But with two high level shortstops in a row, the bar has been raised.

But that bar may not be limited to just the LSU campus. Because with Bregman doing incredible things with the Houston Astros, and now Robertson is showing the Pros what Tigers fans already knew. Here's an update on his first week in the Pros from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"In the first home game of his pro career, former LSU standout Kramer Robertson nailed 4 hits and belted two home runs Wednesday to help the Class A Peoria Chiefs prevail 10-3 over Lake County. The St. Louis Cardinals selected Robertson in the fourth round of the MLB Draft last month."
