Former Saints Star Will Smith Shot Dead In New Orleans

Late last night, former New Orleans Saints team captain Will Smith was shot dead in the Garden District in New Orleans.

Investigators say the attack appears to be connected to a road rage incident, and not a premeditated situation. Smith's wife was also in the vehicle, and was shot twice. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.

Smith was a first round draft pick of the New Orleans Saints who spent his entire 10 year career in Nola. He was a starter in the Saints Super Bowl victory, and is top 5 in career sacks for the organization.
