It feels like it's been an up-and-down year for Leonard Fournette, but it's been good enough for the Doak Walker Award voting.

In the preseason, Fournette was looked at as a Heisman front-runner, but after he was nicked up early in the year, and the Tigers lost a couple of games, the Heisman talk cooled. But Fournette remains one of the best players in the country. According to the Louisiana Radio Network, the post season award committees see it the same way:

"LSU junior running back Leonard Fournette has been named as one of the 10 semifinalists for the Doak Walker Award — which goes to the nation’s top running back. Fournette is also a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award."
