Friday is Go Red for Women for Heart Disease Awareness

Tomorrow I encourage you to wear red to support "Go Red for Women" to help the American Heart Association, Sportspectrum, and Christus Heath Shreveport/Bossier raise awareness for heart disease being the number one killer of women.

Go Red for Women raises awareness, encourages prevention and educates women on healthy steps they can take now to live a longer, strong life.

If you would like to further help the cause, there will be a run/walk Friday beginning at the parking lot of Sportspectrum, starting at 7 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to come and walk, run and celebrate heart month.
