The sheriff's office, Bossier City police and U.S. Marshals Service are searching for 41-year-old Johnny Shouse from the Chattanooga area. He's wanted by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office for attempted first degree murder and aggravated arson.

Earlier this afternoon, his girlfriend, Gladys George, turned herself in to the sheriff's substation on Highway 3. She told detectives she had recently dropped Shouse off on that highway, just south of I-220. Detectives believe Shouse could still possibly be in the area, but they don't think he's armed.

He was last seen wearing black sweat pants, a black jacket, black Nike shoes and carrying a black or dark-colored backpack. If you spot him, contact the Bossier Sheriff's Office at 318-965-2203.
