Both Sonic (Airline Drive and East Texas locations) and Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt will be holding a special fundraiser Thursday, November 21st for Lexi Gordon. 15% of the days sales at Orange Leaf will be dedicated to Pay It Forward Networking to help Lexi's family with her medical expenses and 10% of the days sales at the Sonic locations on Airline Drive and East Texas in Bossier will also be donated to the Gordon's.

From Rebecca Stinson at Reiser Group Sonic Management:

Here’s a little background: My friend who also was head of MDA several years ago when Sonic started sponsoring them, has started a completely non-profit network where it grants wishes for terminally ill or disabled children in the local area. She started it just a few months ago and already 4,000 people have “liked” the Facebook page and she has over 600 email contacts. When there is a wish, she sends out an email to the 600 people seeing what they can do or if they know someone that can help. Most kids wishes are tickets to LSU or Saints games, hanging out at the fire station to be a fireman for a day, having a spa day, etc. Recently she had a wish for a 2 ½ year old girl named Lexi who has a disease that will take her life in probably a few short weeks. All she wants is to hear an artist named JayMay sing her a song called Blue Skies. Well, JayMay is flying to Shreveport next week just to do that! My friend called me and asked if there was anything Sonic could do to help raise money for her medical bills and sadly her funeral. I called Bobby and he said sure! We’re doubling the power by doing it at both stores. This little angel has gotten a lot of followers and fans keeping up with her story so we expect the fundraising night to be busy! I will get the contact info for Lexi’s mom and send it to Bobby so he can take care of the checks.

Thanks for your help! Sorry for the long email, I felt compelled to tell the whole story because of how special it is :)
