Battle of the Bastards”’ had several surprise returns, but Game of Thrones fans would be hard-pressed to argue Season 6 had one unforgettable breakout. Now the series’ best new addition is confirmed to return for Season 7, bringing us one step closer to crowning the true ruler of the seven kingdoms.

You’re warned of some fairly expected Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers from here on out, but if you thought Lyanna Mormont would return home after helping crown Jon Snow the new King of the North, you were happily mistaken. Watchers on the Wall points to new set photos of actor Bella Ramsey on set, albeit perhaps a bit less pint-sized than we remember:

Star Kristofer Hivju previously teased a photo of himself with Ramsey, albeit without giving away whether their two characters would actually cross paths in Season 7. It certainly stands to reason, that with Jon Snow newly declared “King in the North,” both his closest Wildling ally and one of his biggest (littlest?) Northern champions would stick around for a bit.

Of course, there’s no telling what further role Lyanna Mormont might have in the series (we swear, if you touch one hair on that tiny head), but fans should be happy all the same.

Elsewhere of Game of Thrones Season 7, a list of directors for the year has been announced, along with rumors of some major set pieces and battles, while at least a portion of filming will take place in Iceland. Harry Potter star Jim Broadbent has been confirmed for a “significant” role, but sadly without Angela Lansbury, while several notable returns have likely been revealed.
