Geaux Bunco Gang Raises Nearly $10,000 for American Heart Association

I had a great time at the Geaux Bunco event on Sunday. Nearly 200 die-hard Bunco fans showed up for this super event at the American Legion Hall on South Lakeshore Drive.

It was a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. This dedicated group of women raised nearly $10,000 dollars. I was thrilled to be the MC and won a gift of the "Beer Sash". I think I will hold on to this and pass it on to the person who has the most fun at next years' event. The food and all of the prizes were donated by local businesses. The organizers have a big "thanks" for them!
