Can't tell the difference between real and fake news? There's an app for that!

Let's face it, in Louisiana there are several things we're known for: Mardi Gras, great food, reality TV shows and crime and political corruption. Even in this day and age where information is just a key stroke away, it's hard to discern between fact and fiction.

Want to get the real skinny on how our politicians are voting? There's a new app for that and it's called OnPoint from VoteSmart.org. Not only do they track the voting records of over 40,000 politicians, they track trending political topics, review government positions, and find out who is funding them... even right here in northwest Louisiana.

Want to see John Bel Edwards voting record? You can, right here. How about Senator John Kennedy? How about former Mayor of Shreveport and Representative Cedric Glover? Check it out right here. Pretty nifty, right?

So the next time you want to skip the political rhetoric and see what our officials are voting on in our stead, check out what the folks at VoteSmart.org have to say via their new app OnPoint!
