My boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year now. He's amazing and early on, I deleted my "black book" and photos because I just knew he was the one. There's a downside to deleting all those people with whom you once associated with...and that is...when they contact you out of the blue.

I was at the radio station earlier this week for a meeting, when my phone rang. It was an ex boyfriend from 2007, who broke up with me the night he cooked me dinner and his ex girlfriend (now wife) came knocking at the door. Talk about an awkward moment. I didn't even have time to put on my shoes before I was out the door. He has sent moved out West and I haven't seen him in forever. So, I'm heading in one of the offices saying my hellos, when it rings. I promptly ignored it. I'm sorry that you miss me, dude, but you're kinda married and several states away. Peace out.

The next day, I get a text from a number I don't recognize that said, "Ally?" After a few texts, I realize it's some crazy dude that I was never even interested it (and made that clear to him a long time ago), who cursed me out via text a boyfriend before my current one- saying he would never speak to me again because I had started dating someone. So, I told him I was now married and to delete my number for real this time. Oddly enough, he wasn't angry that time. What a weirdo.

So, why is it that when you are finally attached and happy, they come out of the woodwork? I mean, seriously? What do you think? Post your comments below.
