Giant Ice Slides Coming to Shreveport This Sunday!

There's a small chance for snow next week with the wintery mix expected on Tuesday but let's face it at best that means we will see a few flakes... But Sunday Shreveport will have Ice Slides! Ice Up South Highlands is coming to First Baptist Church of Shreveport for an afternoon of winter fun even though the forecast is showing temperatures in the 60's.

From 4-7 pm you can be a kid again on the giant ice slides while also enjoying the live music, food trucks and so much more. This event is completely FREE and fun for the entire family to enjoy.

First Baptist said on their event page that they'll have sleds and tubes for people to use so no need to bring your own. Even though temperatures won't be freezing you still might want to bring a coat!
