Governor John Bel Edwards says he is happy with the deal between the state and BRF to continue to run University Health. The Governor says it's "the best we can do for now, but I do hope this can be a long term agreement."

The Governor says eventually all cooperative endeavor agreements will be reworked. He does says the Medical School in Shreveport is safe and will be as long as he's in charge. He's not sure how the rumor got started that some lawmakers were trying to move the Med School to South Louisiana.
