Great Raft Brewing Presents Mardi Gras King Cake and Beer Pairing Event on Fat Tuesday

What goes better with King Cake than a craft beer?

This is why I love Great Raft Brewing. They have found the ultimate way to celebrate Fat Tuesday with a King Cake and beer pairing. On Tuesday, February 9 from 4 to 9 p.m., they'll be pairing three different king cake creations from Southern Faire with three craft beers from Great Raft. With your $10 pairing ticket, you'll receive a slice of each King Cake and a five ounce sample of each beer.

Tickets will remain $10 in advance, but will go up to $15 at the door if spots remain.

Guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance so that Great Raft can accommodate each guest with King Cake. In addition there will be live music from Pillow Mountain Boys from 6 to 8 p.m.

-Commotion Pale Ale paired with Meyer Lemon Creme King Cake

-Reasonably Corrupt Black Lager paired with Maple Bacon Cream Cheese King Cake

-Old Mad Joy Baltic Porter paired with Cafe Mocha Cream Cheese King Cake

This event is only open to those ages 21 and up. It's free to hang out, but tickets must be purchased in order to participate in the pairing.
