Haughton Man Arrested for Indecent Behavior with Juvenile

A Haughton man is arrested for having sexual contact with a 16-year-old girl.

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington says 26-year-old Matthew A. Newton is charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor. He's said to have had inappropriate sexual communication through social media and sexual contact with the teen girl over the past four months.

He's been booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. His bond is set at $150,000.
