Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko have reportedly called it quits after nine years together.

According to E! News, the 28-year-old actress and 42-year-old boxer have called off their five-year engagement. Sources told the publication that Panettiere is currently "single" and "figuring out what's next."

She was spotted out and about with a mystery man in Los Angeles on Thursday (August 2).

Speaking to Radar Online, Panettiere's mother, Lesley Vogel, corroborated the news of a breakup.

"I think there are a lot of changes going on in her life. But I think they're positive changes. And I think that she's taking some time," she told the tabloid.

Panettiere and Klitschko began dating in 2009 after meeting at a book party launch, though they took a brief break in 2011. The pair announced their engagement in 2013, just a year before welcoming their daughter, Kaya, in 2014.

E! News reports that Panettiere and Klitschko plan to co-parent their three-year-old daughter on "good terms" and will spend time together as a family unit.
