My car serves a variety of functions in addition to getting me from point A to point B safely. If you've listened to the show for any length of time you've heard me talk about listening to my Joyce Meyer Enjoying Everyday Life podcasts on the way into work to get my day started in the right frame of mind. So my car is the place I regularly speak to God, plan my day, perform impromptu concerts, catch up with friends on the phone and more!

On the way home I'm generally in a vegetative state though. I should use that time more productively. After a long day at work I think it's normal to review your day, but if I'm honest, I generally spend more time on the things that went wrong. God talked to me about that Monday afternoon. I saw this truck on the way home on I-20 East between the Racetrack and Haughton/Fillmore exit.

It's amazing how He finds the most seemingly random ways to get our attention. God isn't just for the morning drive to work at 4am, he's for all time, 24/7/365. He certainly yanked my chain and reminded me of what's important. You don't just need to be in the right frame of mind for work, you need it for when you go home to spend time with your family and every other situation in life.

I know this isn't subject matter we normally talk about on the website, but for National Random Acts of Kindness Day, I wanted to share my experience. A relationship with Him is such a blessing and He's waiting for YOU!

If you can't quite make out the scripture on the back of the truck, it's Deuteronomy 6:4-6, I've added verses 7-9 because I think they really drive His point home.
