This weekend, you can help the town of Saline, LA honor the late Dylan Dingler by helping to build a park in his name for generations to come to enjoy with proceeds from the 5th Annual Dylan Dingler Memorial Wild Hog Round-Up!

My friend, Jennifer Davis, reached out to me about the event and wanted us to spread the word. She and her family are participating in the hunt and she says that even though the event will be a ton of fun, it's held in loving memory of young Dylan Dingler, who was killed several years ago in an ATV accident.

The hunt is being hosted by the Mill Creek Kennel and Guide Service and is being held at 788 Fourth Street in Saline. The hunt date is February 8th and weigh-in is Saturday, February 9th, 2019.

The deadline to enter your four-person team is this Thursday, February 7th. Entry is $300. Teams are working towards a five hog stringer, with no dead hogs, with belt buckles awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and trophies for 4th and 5th places. They'll also award a buckle for the biggest boar and raffle off a custom made 30/06. You'll also be able to win door prizes, participate in a pig chase and more. It's $3 to get in and $2 for children 12 and under. Donations are tax-deductible as they're going to 501(c)(3) organization, the United Sportsmen's Youth Foundation Central Louisiana Chapter, who are working to build the park.
