Anyone that knows me knows that I'm a big proponent of adoption versus purchasing when it comes to pets. I have four dogs and two cats in my home... all adoptions, rescues or 'free to a good home.' To my way of thinking, there are too many animals waiting in shelters for furever homes to justify backing breeders who just add to our animal overpopulation problem... But that's just me!

We have a number of amazing shelters and groups in our area that work tirelessly to find homes for pets that find themselves unwanted. Many of them operate on shoestring budgets consisting of donations and for the lucky groups, grants. Others generally dig into their own wallets to save these precious babies.

With that being said, shelters are finding new and inventive ways to entice people to adopt. Cue this hilarious, low budget PSA out of Atlanta for Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters. Well played Furkids, well played!
