The 20th Annual Christmas on Caddo Fireworks Festival is coming up this weekend. It's set for Saturday, December 6, at Earl G. Williamson Park in Oil City.

Activities kick off at 3:30 p.m. with arts and crafts, food vendors, live music, local entertainment and more. The entertainment lineup includes local groups like the Sweet Potatoes Band from Oil City Elementary Magnet, Tristian Fincher, Penny McCurdy, the Tigerettes Dance Line, as well as headliner Travis Whitehead and the Divided.

Children's activities include clowns, games and a visit from Santa Claus. The kids will also get an early Christmas gift. Photos with Santa are $5.

Then, there's the big feature -- the fireworks show by Durr's Pyromania Fireworks of Bossier City. That starts at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the festival is free.

"What makes this festival a one-of-a-kind event is that the admission, games and performances are free of charge for all festival attendees to enjoy," said Christmas on Caddo Fireworks Festival Mary Dunn in a news release. "Locals and out-of-towners alike look forward to this holiday festival -- it's something that the community can be proud of."
