Holiday In Dixie Festival Begins in a Week

This year’s Holiday In Dixie Festival begins next Friday, April 12 at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport. We have quite a fun morning planned for opening day. We are going up in a ferris wheel or the tallest ride they have!!  I love it, but Robert is deathly afraid of heights. He will be crying and sweating and generally acting like a big weener all morning. You can listen as we do our show live on Friday morning from Festival Plaza. You might want to tune in!

All of the big attractions return this year including the Carnival, Treasure Hunt, Classic Parade, Family Fun Run and 5K. And there’s great music and incredible food. The Classic Parade will be Saturday, April 13th at 5:30 pm in downtown Shreveport beginning at the Municipal Auditorium and heading east on Milam, north on Market, then west on Texas.

Carnival Tickets

Carnival tickets sell for 4 for $5 or 22 for $25.

All kids’ rides are 2 tickets each.

All adults’ rides are 3 tickets each. Freak Out and Himalaya are 4 tickets.
