It's hard to believe, but the holiday shopping season is about 60 days away and that means criminals are gearing up to try to rip you off!!  The Caddo Sheriff's Office wants to help keep you safe during that busy time of year.

tips, where you will learn about crimes like identity theft, burglary and home invasions, and several other topics. Day two will cover personal safety tips and handling of firearms.  You can learn all about concealed carry laws and even take part in some shooting exercises. The program is open to women ages 18 and up, and there are three sets of dates to choose from: October 7th and 8th, November 4th and 5th, or December 2nd and 3rd. Each session will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Fridays at Sheriff's Safety Town and from 8 a.m. til 1 p.m. Saturdays at the Caddo Sheriff's Regional Training Academy. The sessions are free, but you'll need to call the sheriff's Community Programs Section to register.
