Horror Classic Remake Now Filming In Shreveport

Of all the stars we've seen around town in recent years  (Kevin Costner, Ashton Kutcher and Sandra Bullock to name just a few), who ever thought we'd get to see Mike Brady from 'The Brady Bunch Movie' roaming our streets. That's right, actor Gary Cole, who portrayed that iconic American dad, is in our city, currently starring in a remake of the 1977 horror classic 'The Town That Dreaded Sundown'.

The film also stars British actress Veronica Cartwright ('Alien', 'Six Feet Under') and legendary character actor Edward Herrmann.  'The Town That Dreaded Sundown' is being directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.

Local filming is is expected to wrap up on June 22nd. The movie is set for release in mid-2014.
