Tomorrow we will all go through the experience of having to change the clocks on our ovens and vehicles because of daylight savings. When you are "springing forward" this year there are a few things you should know about how your body is impacted.

CNN claims that "a 2016 study found that the overall rate for stroke was 8% higher in the two days after daylight saving time. Cancer victims were 25% more likely to have a stroke during that time, and people older than 65 were 20% more likely to have a stroke."

The same effects can be found on folks who work the super late night shift, according to CNN. Apparently, the effects are still lingering during the next few days after time change.

I never thought that just one hour would have that kind of effect on people, but I guess so. Now, the best way to combat losing an hour is making sure you go to bed earlier. Make sure you are getting 7-8 hours of sleep and you should be okay.
