How Not To Plan A Wedding Reception!

I think we can all agree that the economy is still pretty bad.

But, if you're planning on getting married, it's still NOT a good idea to shoplift the food for the reception! No, It's not a way to save on the wedding budget!

If Arthur Phillips III and Brittany M. Lurch didn't realize this before, they know now... They were arrested for stealing more than $1,000 in food and beverages from a Pennsylvania grocery store.

As the Centre Dailey Times reports, "They watched the couple on surveillance cameras put items in their shopping cart, and walk out to their car without paying, according to an affidavit filed by police. Police then arrested [the couple], who told them the items were intended for their reception."

Hey, at least they were honest with police!

I have a feeling the wedding bliss may have to be pushed back... The couple have been charged with misdemeanor counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property.
