How the Marines Have Changed My Son

Less than a year ago, my oldest son was in his freshman year in college, but he really wasn't sure if that's what he he wanted to do. He decided to join the Marines.

He posted a picture on his Instagram and it clearly shows how the Marines have changed his life.

During Christmas break, he made the decision to investigate his military options. He decided he wanted to join the Marines. Now, this was a teenager that liked to have a good time. He didn't get in any trouble, but he was not highly motivated. He is so changed.

This picture tells the story so well. People told me this would happen, but I really didn't believe it. It's so amazing to see how dramatic the change has been.
