Jeff Dorson, executive director of the Humane Society of Louisiana, says that Michael Vick's debt to society has been paid and that the Humane Society has no issue with the NFL athlete's show, The Michael Vick Comedy Explosion.

Hundreds of Shreveport-Bossier citizens rallied on Facebook to organize a protest of Vick's show, arguing that it's in bad taste for The Strand Theatre to host the event.

The Strand Theatre issued a statement via its official Facebook page to address the mounting criticism:

Vick was convicted in 2007 of running a dogfighting operation. He was sentenced to 23 months in prison. Since then, he has become a spokesperson for the Human Society of the United States.

Dorson, below, will call in to the Robert and Erin Morning Show Wednesday (6/25) morning to discuss Vick's past crimes and the protest planned for the July 12 show.
