Innolyzer Labs is taking home $70,000 in cash and prizes, plus a big surprise from Aneca Federal Credit Union.

Another year of Louisiana Startup Prize is in the books and this year's top Entrepreneur is Innolyzer Labs. The announcement was made at a brunch ceremony Sunday morning. Innolyzer Labs received $25,000 cash, $10,000 worth of marketing services from Williams Creative Group, $10,000 of accounting services from Heard, McElroy and Vestal, one free year of office space provided from American Tower (valued at $20,000) a $5,000 corporate video provided by Fairfield Studios and new this year.

And that's not all.

This year, Aneca Federal Credit Union announced that they will be offering each of the finalists access to $100,000 of financing for business expenses.

“This was certainly the best group of entrepreneurs that we’ve ever seen,” said Gregory Kallenberg. “The judging was incredibly intense.”

The finalists were comprised of impressive groups from all over the country. They each brought something special to the table, representing concepts like a point of care test that will diagnose bacterial infections quickly, a multi-purpose tool that is designed for hospital nurses and combines several medical instruments into one, and metal 3D printed rocket engines that are designed to cost-effectively commercialize rocket launches.

They certainly did not go home empty handed as Kallenberg, the brains behind the Prize, announced each finalist received "letters of interest" from the Investor judges.

“The incredibly exciting part of all this year’s Startup Prize is that all of our finalists could potentially earn an investment,” said Kallenberg. “It’s incredible that everyone involved might win.”
