The deadly blast of arctic air that shattered temperature records across the eastern half of the United States has caused Niagara Falls to become a winter wonderland.

At the falls, where the temperature has been hovering in the low teens, Reuters photographer Aaron Harris took shots of a partially frozen area of the falls on the U.S. side. Perhaps you've seen reports that the falls are frozen. That's not the case. You can see them flowing as usual on the live webcam.
