Listen up, mah bookies. Not only is there an Obi-Wan Kenobi standalone in the works, Disney is also planning to give us solo movies for Boba Fett and Jabba the Hutt! That’s right folks, soon we might get to see the backstories of our favorite galactic bounty hunter and… whatever Jabba is. I assume Hutts hatch out of the ground as tiny slugs and just don’t stop growing until they become giant crime lords. #Goals, in other words.

According to Variety’s report from yesterday about the Kenobi movie, Disney is also considering giving Fett and Jabba their solo movie dues. The Hollywood Reporter also mentions a possible Yoda standalone. It would certainly be fun to see a movie about what mischief Boba Fett had been up to between the Clone Wars and the original Star Wars trilogy, and I’m kinda into the idea of a Jabba movie just so that I can see what the heck they could possibly do with it. Hutts live to be centuries old — Jabba was 604 before he was strangled to death — so there’s probably plenty of material there.

In some ways, this all still depends on how well the Han Solo spinoff is received. But a Boba Fett movie would be very cool, and I’m morbidly fascinated just by the idea of a Jabba spinoff. Just, for the love of god, please put Diego Luna in it.
