James Burton’s ‘Cars, Guitars & Memorabilia’ Museum Coming to Shreveport

Legendary guitarist James Burton shared some exciting information on KEEL's "The Best of Times Radio Hour" over the weekend. He's bought the old building behind his foundation across from the Municipal Auditorium, and is putting a car museum there.
He's calling it "Cars, Guitars & Memorabilia," and he told show host Gary Calligas a lot of wonderful entertainers will be involved in its creation.

"You guys are gonna love it," Burton said. "You can actually come by my office and see the architect drawing of it. It's gonna be beautiful."

He said that's his new thing he's looking forward to for next year. Right now, he's preparing for his International Guitar Festival, which takes place Friday through Sunday, August 22-24.
