Jewel And Husband Ty Have A Boy!

While it's not quite a 16 pound baby, Jewel and her rodeo husband (and DWTS finalist) Ty Murray, welcomed their new family addition earlier this week.

According to People Magazine, she had the baby boy Monday night, the 11th.

Kase Townes Murray weighed in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces.

Jewel tells the magazine of her first kid, "We are overcome with happiness - it really is as great as everyone told us it would be - better even!" She even took time to tweet to her fans from the hospital.

During her pregnancy, Jewel had been staying busy hosting Platinum Hit on Bravo... And working on a new CD! Luckily, she wrapped the recording sessions up a couple of weeks ago and the CD is slated to come out later this fall.
