Jimmy Buffet is one of the co-owners of the Margaritaville Casino in Bossier City and he stopped in town to do a show for the "official" grand opening.

Big spenders, high rollers, VIPs and I were in the crowd for this awesome show. Buffett did not disappoint.Of course, the crowd went wild when he did his signature song "Margaritaville." He also got the crowd going with renditions of "Cheeseburger in Paradise," "Come Monday" and "Son of a Son of a Sailor."

But you could feel the Paradise Theater rumble when he did "It's 5 O'clock Somewhere," the massive hit he had with Alan Jackson.

It was quite a treat to be able to see Buffett for the very first time. He's one of those iconic performers that I have always wanted to see. And boy, did he deliver. Thanks to everyone at the Margaritaville Resort and Casino for a spectacular night. The show and entire experience was amazing.

Get a little taste of paradise with the pictures and video I got during the concert, which includes Buffett talking a little bit about the Louisiana Hayride.
