Governor Bobby Jindal returned to his wonkish ways in his first debate as a Republican presidential candidate Thursday afternoon, that according to a number of analysts and pundits across Louisiana.

Jindal was on stage with seven other lower polling Republican candidates, in what was termed by many the second tier presidential debate.

Perhaps Jindal's strongest moment came when he told the Cleveland crowd that as President he would not only work to defund Planned Parenthood, but also call for a federal investigation into the controversial organization.

The Governor was also asked why he thought he should be President, when his approval rating in his home state are so low. Jindal responded that his unpopularity is due to his willingness to make "tough, but unpopular decisions."
