Justin Bieber has been detained by immigration officials upon his arrival to LAX today, April 24, E! News reports.

The Biebs, who flew into Los Angeles on an Air Singapore flight from Tokyo, Japan, has been questioned for "the last two hours," eyewitnesses tell E! as his entourage waits for him.

As this is breaking news, it is yet to be revealed as to why Bieber has been detained and is being questioned by immigration.

The singer had been in Japan over the past week, where he kept fans up-to-date by posting photos of his travels on Instagram. While he kicked up some controversy regarding his visit to a Japanese war shrine, he also visited an orphanage, where he was filmed in all smiles, adorably playing with the laughing children.

Of course, the Biebs has also been involved in many legal woes as of late. He is in two different cases involving his supposed violence to paparazzi and was arrested for a DUI in Miami earlier this year, a case that even prompted a petition to get the singer deported.

We wonder if now they might be getting their wish.
