Tonight (Saturday, Jan. 7), Kelly Clarkson will return to the stage of ‘Saturday Night Live’ where she will perform her hit singles ‘Mr. Know It All‘ and ‘Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).’

Clarkson’s appearance on SNL tonight will mark the pop singer’s third time gracing the famous stage. “It’s a legendary stage,” Clarkson tells MTV. “I’ve been watching it since I was a kid — I think we all have. I’m a big fan of the show. [Plus], it’s a fun environment. You don’t feel like you’re working.”

Unfortunately for those who are fans of Clarkson’s comical ‘SNL’ skits in the past when she appeared on the show, the star will solely be sticking to singing duties for her latest appearance, leaving the bulk of the skits to this week’s host, Charles Barkley.

“We’re literally flying in and out,” Clarkson says of the time spent on the SNL set this weekend. “I start touring in like days, so we’re literally going to Connecticut [after my performance].”

Look for Clarkson’s performance on ‘Saturday Night Live’ tonight when it airs beginning at 11:30PM ET on NBC.
