As Louisiana college--and apparently, high school--students celebrated Spring Break in Florida this year, they racked up a sobering distinction.

According to the Northwest Florida Daily News, Louisiana students accounted for most of the Spring Break arrests in Okaloosa County, Fla.

Okaloosa County is home to popular beach destinations including Destin and Fort Walton Beach.

The Spring Break season encompassed a seven-week period that apparently included a lot of underage drinking--as that seemed to be the most common offense.

Police say of the 508 arrests, 34 were LSU students, and 23 were UL Lafayette students.

Seven students from St. Paul’s School in Covington were also arrested.

Some may chock up the arrests to a Kids-Being-Kids mentality, lets hope they all sobered up before Finals Week, that wrapped up Saturday.
