UPDATE: Weeks after voicing her frustrations on Twitter over the fashion industry ignoring her requests for a gown for the premiere of Ghostbusters, Leslie Jones and Christian Siriano's collaborative gown has been revealed... and the actress looks positively gorgeous!

The SNL comedian attended the red black carpet premiere for the spooky comedy in Hollywood on Saturday (July 9), where she unveiled the stunning fire engine-red gown designed for her by the Project Runway alum.

ORIGINAL POST (7/1): Days after putting members of the fashion industry on blast for their overwhelming refusal to dress her for the upcoming Ghostbusters premiere, comedian Leslie Jones got some solid support in the form of designer Christian Siriano. The two have since officially confirmed they’ll be working together on a dress for Jones and offered up some photo proof in the process.

“Having fun with my boo @CSiriano,” Jones tweeted yesterday (June 30), along with a picture of herself with Siriano, who first gained notoriety after becoming the youngest contestant to win Project Runway, back in Season 4.

Jones first tweeted about being unable to find a designer willing to outfit her for a red carpet dress on Tuesday (June 28), writing, “It’s so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie. Hmmm that will change and I remember everything.”

Siriano responded less than 40 minutes later with a hand-waving emoji, and thus a collaboration was born.

After presumably receiving praise for his decision to step up to the plate, Siriano tweeted again, this time ordering for an overhaul on the fashion industry at large, which is notoriously discriminatory toward those who don't fit into sample sizes (typically a size 2 or 4) and aren't of A-List status.

"It shouldn't be exceptional to work with brilliant people just because they're not sample size. Congrats aren't in order, a change is," he tweeted.

Siriano also responded to another tweet after someone asked why he shouldn't be called a "hero" for helping Jones -- as if dressing women who fail to fit into Hollywood's narrow and absurd ideals is worthy of high praise.

Jones will hit the red carpet during Ghostbusters' July 9 premiere.
