Shreveport continues it's tradition as a multicultural hotbed this weekend with the annual "Let The Good Times Roll Festival" kicking off Friday!  This yearly festival celebrating the music, art, and food of African American culture, will take place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at downtown Shreveport's Festival Plaza.

Musical headliners include the hit R&B/soul trio Tony!Toni!Tone!, singer Tank, compared by critics to Marvin Gaye and Al Green and soul artist Bobby V. Also appearing this weekend are zydeco stars Keith Franks and Chris Ardoin, Shreveport's own Front Cover featuring Mark Scroggins and many more.
New to this year's festival is "Friday Night Movie Night" (at Festival Plaza), featuring the free showing of the animated film "Puss N' Boots."
In addition, the festival features food from area restaurants and a large arts and crafts area. Admission is $10 for adults and free for children under 6.
