LHSAA Releases 2015 Football Playoff Brackets

All the hard work and dedication this year is now starting to pay off for several local high school football teams as the LHSAA has now released the nine 2015 playoff brackets.

Playoff games will begin this Friday, November 13 and will continue until the state championship games, December 4 and December 11 and 12 at the Super Dome in New Orleans.

Teams are divided again this year into "Select" and "Non-Select" divisions. Select schools are listed in Divisions I-IV, while the Non-Select schools get the traditional designations in Class 1A-5A.

Here's a look at who our local teams will play this week!

#16 - Airline will play #17 - Ponchatoula

#4 - Byrd will play #29 - Fontainbleau

#19 - Haughton will play #14 - Barbe

#6 - Parkway will play #27 - Natchitoches Central

4-A Playoffs

#9 North Desoto will play #24 - St. Martinville

#20 Woodlawn will play #13 - McDonough

#4 Benton will play #29 - Fair Park

#30 - Northwood will play #3 - Cecilia

#7 - Minden will play #26 - Tioga
