Ok, I'll be the first to admit it. I made a promise that I would lose 30 pounds and quit smoking this year.

Steve's Score Card: 1 out of 2. I quit smoking.

I am not sure what happened, but 2 years ago, I was running 20 miles a week and working out no less than 6 days a week, eating right and sitting at 30 pounds less than I am today.

What happened? I got lazy. But do I want everyone to know this?

Enter Facebook, omniscient and intuitive. They have created new app called HealthyShare. It is designed to challenged you to lose weight, work out and eat better with suggestions by Olympic athletes. Interesting, though, it has a number of similarities to the LiveStrong website, where you can post updates on how well you are doing, what you ate and how much you worked out.

As I wage my battle of the bulge, I think I may try this new app, but I am have to admit, I am a fan of LiveStrong. I will run a comparison and check back with you and see if this new app is worth the time.
